Rachel and I walked down the pier the first day we got to Oceanside. Our condo is right behind Rachel's right shoulder.
I enjoyed walking on the beach and letting the waves dash against my feet and legs.
We sat on the beach, under an umbrella, and watched the ocean and the surfers.
Steve takes care of business while Pam eats the biggest shaved ice I've ever seen. Steve treated Pam's relatives and I took their picture so that I could give Laura and Jaycee a bad time about not coming with me.

On Thursday Steve, Rachel and I visited the Mormon Battalion Memorial. I made bricks, Rachel scrubbed on an old scrub board while Steve panned for gold. On the way home Rachel and I stopped at Kolob National Park.
Then we stopped at Southern Utah University in Cedar City to take a picture of "Old Sorrow" and the Rock Church that Grandpa McConnell helped build..
